Please read all of the Photographic Competition Terms and Conditions set out in the attached document BEFORE entering the Sister City Photographic Competition.
The Sister City Photographic Competition commences at 10.00 am on 1 February 2022 and closes at midnight on 27 February 2022 (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
Entry is free.
To be eligible to enter this Photographic Competition, an Entrant must:
- Be an individual; and
- Be a resident of the Toowoomba Region’s local government area or Takatsuki City Council area.
Note: Neither the Toowoomba Regional Council’s Councillors, employees or their immediate family members nor the Takatsuki International Association’s staff and Takatsuki Koeisha Photography Association members are eligible to enter.
To enter, the Entrant must complete the online Entry Form and submit the photographs electronically.
An entry must:
- not contain more than four photographs (that is, a maximum of 4 photographs for each Entrant).
- be relevant to the Photographic Competition Theme: “What makes our City/Region special”.
- Image requirements
- Images must be in JPEG format
- Images must be at least 2000 pixels on the shortest edge.
- Individual images must be no larger than 5MB.
- Please do not include watermarks, other branding or date stamps on your images.
- Images must not contain any inappropriate or unlawful content or breach any laws of Australia by reason of the taking or sharing of the image.
- Include an explanation of up to 50 words, in relation to each photograph, expressing how the photograph reflects the theme of “What makes our City/Region special?”
- The youth category is open to residents who are under the age of 18 years as at the closing date of this Photographic Competition.
- All youth Entrants must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian to enter this Photographic Competition.
